Specialised Foster Care for Unaccompanied and Separated Children in Serbia

In this case study entitled "Specialised Foster Care for Unaccompanied and Separated Children in Serbia", the Save the Children project "Appropriate care and protection for unaccompanied refugee and migrant children (UASC): Building capacities for specialised fostering of UASC in Serbia" is highlighted.  Building on the lessons learned and good practices of this project, they have developed a specialised foster care training package in collaboration with relevant insitutions.

ECDPM study - "Implications of the irregular migration and refugee situation on Official Development Assistance spending and practices in Europe"

 

A new study by Anna Knoll and Andrew Sherriff of the European Centre for Development Policy Management (ECDPM), commissioned and launched by the Swedish Expert Group of Aid Studies, assesses the implications of irregular migration on official development assistance (ODA) spending in Europe through the analysis of five case studies. This study demonstrates that effective development cooperation is threatened because of a migration-related shift in European foreign aid spending.

UNDP Issue Brief - Development Approaches to Displacement in Lebanon

This Issue Brief present UNDP's work to link displacement and development in Lebanon and to build self reliant refugees and host communities. As of 2016, Lebanon hosts an estimated 10.7 million Syrian refugees registered with UNHCR with an additional 380,000 Palestinian refugees, in a protracted situations that have severe impact on the refugees themselves and on the municipalities where refugees have temporarily settled.

This study was conducted to generate information about Overseas Filipinos and their families, as well as various government programs and services for the benefit of overseas Filipinos. Socio-demographic and psycho-graphic characteristics of Overseas Filipinos and their families were described.
