The Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service has announced that applications are open for the 2016 Migrant and Refugee Leadership Academy, which will take place from the 20th to the 22nd of June, 2016. 

At the Academy, immigrants, refugees, and allies can come together to build alliances, bond over shared experiences, and develop the skills necessary for advocacy on migrant and refugee-related issues.

The application deadline is March 18th.

The Capacity-Building of Research Institutions and Personnel on Migration and Development (CARES-MD) in Region V is part of various initiatives under the Joint Migration and Development Imitative (JMDI).
