About

The Networking and Participation of Lo cal Authorities Team of the JMDI has launched a peer review involving Local Authorities in and outside the EU. The overall goal of the peer review is to involve LAs in the formulation of policy recommendations aimed to enhance the capacity of local actors to effectively connect migration with development trends.

The objective of this meeting is twofold: on one hand, it aims at sharing and discussing with Local Authorities the outcomes of the process to date; on the other, it will serve as an opportunity for an open exchange with LAs on the specific needs they have in the M&D realm, and how can the Joint Initiative constructively give response to them.
