The 7th edition of the Academy of Labour Migration (LMA) will take place in Panama City, from 18 to 22 June 2018. It is organized jointly by the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization (ITC-ILO), the International Labour Organization (ILO) and Panama’s Ministry of Labour and Workforce Development (MITRADEL), in collaboration with the Global Migration Group (GMG), the Panamanian Pro Tempore Presidency of the Regional Conference on Migration (RCM) and the Temper Project.

The LMA aims at providing participates with the opportunity to gain advance knowledge and enhanced capacity for better understanding fair and effective labour migration governance, linkages between migration and sustainable development, and instruments and mechanisms of protection. The course is designed for a variety of key migration actors: governments, employers, trade unions, civil society, academics, etc. With a wide range of elective courses to choose, the one-week course is customizable to best fit your professional needs and expertise.
