L’Initiative Conjointe pour la Migration et le Développement de l’ONU (ICMD) a publié  la publication du « Guide de mise en œuvre pour l’intégration transversale de la migration dans la planification du développement local » de l’ICMD. L'objectif du guide de mise en œuvre est d’aider les autorités régionales à renforcer leurs efforts pour intégrer la migration dans tous les secteurs de la gouvernance en vue d’une meilleure cohérence des politiques de migration et de développement.

L’Initiative Conjointe pour la Migration et le Développement de l’ONU (ICMD) a publié une collection de « Récits de Succès » qui contient une série d'études de cas sur les bonnes pratiques, les leçons apprises et les recommandations se fonde sur les résultats empiriques des projets soutenus par l’ICMD dans huit pays cibles : Costa Rica, Équateur, El Salvador, Philippines, Maroc, Népal, Sénégal et Tunisie. Ceux-ci sont fondés sur des données probantes et peuvent servir à guider d'autres autorités locales et régionales dans la mise en œuvre d'initiatives similaires.

With the support of the Consortium of Autonomous Provincial Governments of Ecuador (CONGOPE), the Joint Migration and Development Initiative organized a training of trainers workshop and handover of the “My JMDI Toolbox” set of training materials to the Provincial Governments of Imbabura, Carchi, Sucumbíos, Orellana and Pichincha, on the 13th and 14th of April, in Ibarra City (province of Imbabura).
