Elizabeth has a masters of public policy, and did her dissertation with the Migration Health and Development Research Initiative (MHADRI). Her research was on Burkinabe migrants in Côte d'Ivoire and their challenges in accessing healthcare. She currently works as the Office and Communications Manager for Multi-Cultural Family Base (MCFB) in Edinburgh, Scotland. This is a social work agency that works with Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) families, including immigrants.
